Coming Together for Mental Health
Sometimes, It Starts With a Question

At MFE, food may be our business, but people have always been at the heart of what we do.
This weekend, our CEO, Jason, attended the 32nd One Mind Music Festival at Staglin Family Vineyard — an extraordinary gathering of scientists, innovators, advocates, business leaders and musicians united by a shared mission: advancing mental health.
One Mind’s story began more than 30 years ago, when the Staglin family faced their son Brandon’s diagnosis with schizophrenia and made the decision to “run toward the problem.” What began as one family’s journey has grown into a movement supporting mental health research, innovation, workplace well-being and the voices of those with lived experience.
The day brought together a Science & Innovation Symposium exploring the future of mental health research and treatment, followed by an intimate performance from The Fray.
It was a meaningful reminder that progress often begins with people willing to have the conversations that aren’t always easy.
At MFE, we believe caring for people means caring about the whole person — our team, our clients, our families and the communities we’re fortunate to be part of.
We may not have all the answers, but we can continue to listen, learn, reduce stigma and support the people around us.
Sometimes, making a difference starts with something as simple as asking:
“How are you really doing?”
